TELEVISION - Best Source Of Reliable News

With the invention of modern technology, just about everyone and everything could be a source of news. The question is - is the news real or fake? Newspaper, television and internet are just some resources where we could be updated about the things that are happening around us. With these three in mind, what do you think is the best source of RELIABLE NEWS?

Poll result shows that 50% of the participants believe that television provides them reliable news, followed by the internet with 44%. And newspaper comes in last with only 6%. Why does TV comes in first and the printed media last?. Do you think the saying "To see is to believe." plays a role in this situation? People would like see videos that could be considered as "proof" that the news is real? Survey shows that the internet is even a close second with 44%. 18 voters ranging from ages 18 - 54 with 33% males and 67% females, could also be a factor. The participants are more exposed to the internet because it's accessible. They could easily check out the news with a push of a button on their mobile phones or tablets. If the participants are older, would the result shift a bit?

In this modern world that we live in, we are given an easier and quicker access to information and news. Everyone could be writer or a media practitioner. Let us be responsible. Be a reliable source of information. As readers, be more vigilant in discerning a real news from a fake one. Support the truth and stop the lies.

George Clooney Tops Batman Poll

First introduced to the public in 1939 by DC Comics, Batman has now become a household name worldwide. With its fame comes a list of well-known actors who've portrayed the character of Bruce Wayne, the sometimes charismatic, sometimes mysterious but always brooding businessman of Gotham City. Some of those actors are Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer, and  Michael Keaton.

The most recent Batman role was played by Ben Affleck in 2016 with the movie entitled Batman v Superman with Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel. Christian Bale was featured in three Batman movies - The Dark Knight Rises (2012), The Dark Knight (2008), and Batman Begins (2005). George Clooney starred in Batman and Robin (1997) with Chris O'Donnell. Batman Forever was played by Val Kilmer in 1995. And Micheal Keaton was in two films - Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992).

So, who among these actors are the crowd's favorite? Survey shows that George Clooney tops the list, garnering 34% of the votes followed Ben Affleck with 27%. Christian Bale comes in 3rd with 24%, Val Kilmer in 4th place with 9% and Michael Keaton in 5th with 6%.

George Clooney was a favorite by both the female and male voters, receiving a total of 11 out of 28 votes.  For the males, Ben Affleck comes in 2nd (27% -3) while Christian Bale and Ben Affleck tied in 2nd place (27% - 6)  for the women.

Long Hair is In!

If your hair is your crowning glory, what should your crown look like? Out of 28 participants, 17 voted that they preferred long tresses over short locks. Do you agree?

Survey shows that 65% (15 out of 23) of the women like to have long hair while 60% (3 out of 5) of males like short hair.

This is also a case of "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Whatever hair length a person prefers is based on his/her standard of beauty. Long hair could stand for innocent or seductive. Short hair could symbolize independent or quirky. Or it could also be about functionality. Would a mom with three little kids from ages 6 to 2 still prefer to have long hair when it's so practical and easier to do things without the hassle of her locks getting in the way?

For some, a person's hair doesn't just show a good physical appearance. Sometimes it could also boost a person's confidence. You have an extra strut or swag on your steps if you've just visited your favorite hairstylist and you know you look fab. Our hair holds an invisible power over us and that's just the way it is.

But this, still being the case of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", short or long or for some - none at all, we are free to choose whatever hair lenght we want and feel beautiful with it.
